Purification of Liquid Sugar
This is one of the basic and most important Applications in which dedicated grades of our Activated Carbon products are used in the Beverages Industry. With the use of the right product, complete decolorization, and vast improvements in the sensory characteristics of the Sugar syrup can be easily achieved.
Fruit Juices
Specific types of our Activated Carbon products are useful in removing colourants like Melanoidins, Polyphenols etc. from Apple and Grape juices and other fruit products used in the production of fruit juices. They are also used for the removal of bad taste causing compounds from fruit juices, and also those that give specific unwanted colours etc. Our Activated Carbon products are also useful for the removal of pesticides and fungicides like Mycotoxin Patulin so that the Beverage products comply with International Health Standards.

Purification of Carbon Di Oxide
Beverage Industry uses lots of Co2 obtained both from the Breweries during the Fermentation process and that obtained from external sources.
