It has white color, high hardness (Mohs hardness: 9.0), high melting point(2200 degree centigrade), high purity (AL2O3:99.5%Min), high temperature resistance characteristic, very stable chemical characteristic.The powder and grit are widely used for abrasive media, sandblasting, polishing and grinding on metals surface treatment, such as steel, stainless steel, high carbon steel, high speed steel. It is also used for refractory materials, abrasion resistance additive, hardware decoration. And it is commonly used for making ceramics at industrial grade, food grade, for electronics. 1. The Al2O3 purity is high(99%min). So the hardness & grinding ability is high with good grinding efficiency.2. High wear-resistance. Even in high-temperature circumstances, the strength is still excellent.
3. The white fused aluminum oxide powder is suspension treated by water. So it is of flowability and easy to scatter.
4. Low oil absorption especially for water-based paint.
5. Neutral property with PH value around 7-8.
6. High whiteness. It doesn't affect the color of paints or coatings adding Al2O3 powder.
7. Resistant to most corrosive alkali and acid. It doesn't dissolve in water.8. Resistant to high temperature up to 1900 °C. 9. Good particle size consistency without big size grains.
So it prevents scratch on the grinding substrate.
